Donald Trump vergelijkt het homohuwelijk met grote, lelijke golfclub – en krijgt de volle laag
Dankzij het onvolprezen gay.blog.nl (voor al uw piemelgrappen) wisten we het al een tijdje: miljardair Donald Trump ziet het homohuwelijk niet zitten. Maar het hoe en waarom vertelde de (bijna) Republikeinse presidentskandidaat er toen niet bij. Nu wel. Aan The New York Times deed The Donald uit de doeken wat hij tegen een man/man-huwelijk heeft. Het is net golf, moet u weten, en het homohuwelijk is een lelijkere, grotere golfclubs. Daar moet een man als Trump niets van hebben.
De letterlijke quote van de New Yorker die in juni beslist of hij presidentskandidaat wordt:
“It’s like in golf. A lot of people — I don’t want this to sound trivial — but a lot of people are switching to these really long putters, very unattractive. It’s weird. You see these great players with these really long putters, because they can’t sink three-footers anymore. And, I hate it. I am a traditionalist. I have so many fabulous friends who happen to be gay, but I am a traditionalist.”
Juist ja. Een traditionalist. Koren op de molen van de Amerikaanse late night shows natuurlijk. Dit zijn de beste grappen.
Jon Stewart: “I think gay people and straight people use the same putters. It’s really a matter of hole selection.”
