De massahysterie rond het coronavirus berokkent meer schade dan de ziekte zelf

Vanuit zijn woonplaats Genua beschouwt Ilja Leonard Pfeijffer wekelijks een onderwerp dat het nieuws beheerst. Deze week schrijft hij over de astronomische schade die de massahysterie rond het coronavirus aanricht - bijvoorbeeld in de toeristensector. “De volksgezondheid is natuurlijk best belangrijk, maar de economie is nog net iets belangrijker, laten we wel wezen.”
